Sir Gerry Grimstone’s Review into Public Appointments
October 20 2015

Sir Gerry Grimstone, Lead NED at MoD, is currently undertaking a review into the processes around public appointments and the role of the Commissioner for Public Appointments, a position which was created by the Public Appointments Order in Council 1995. In light of the range of public appointments, 20 years on, it is important to ensure that these procedures are still effective and proportionate. Sir Gerry will report to the Minister for the Cabinet Office with recommendations for improvements at the end of the year.
